The Scheringa Museum - for Realism
A palace of a building where the treasures of (modern) Realism (and more) would be exhibited, the museum of the Netherlands. Unfortunately, after the fall of the DSB bank, the future for this museum also disappeared. After more than 12 years of vacancy, this photo book clearly shows how nature has tried to take over this building. It became more than just urbex photography: it has become a report on a building that has acquired its own character and myth. A deserved stage, which, after the necessary metamorphosis, will serve as a new home for 120 households in the future.
